จังหวัดพังงาขอยืนยันว่าจะไม่เพิกเฉยต่อเหตุการณ์ที่เกิดขึ้นโดยเหตุการณ์ดังกล่าวเกิดจากความประมาทและการขาดวินัย ในการใช้รถใช้ถนนของผู้ขับรถ มิใช่ความบกพร่องของระบบสัญญาณไฟจราจรแต่อย่างใด

 

จังหวัดพังงาจะดำเนินการตามกฎหมายกับผู้ขับรถให้ถึงที่สุดและพร้อมให้การช่วยเหลือนักท่องเที่ยวผู้ได้รับบาดเจ็บอย่างเต็มที่

จังหวัดพังงากำหนดมาตรการบังคับใช้กฎหมาย ด้านการจราจรอย่างเข้มข้น และมีแผนในการปรับปรุงและยกระดับระบบสัญญาณไฟจราจรและสภาพถนนที่มีอยู่ให้ดียิ่งขึ้นเพื่อสร้างความมั่นใจและความปลอดภัยให้แก่นักท่องเที่ยวทุกท่านที่มาเยือนจังหวัดพังงา

On behalf of Phang Nga Province, we would like to express our deepest condolences regarding the incident in which a German tourist was injured after being struck by a car while crossing a pedestrian crosswalk.

Phang Nga Province affirms that this matter will not be overlooked. The incident was caused by the driver’s negligence and lack of discipline in using the road, and not due to any malfunction of the traffic signal system.

Legal action will be taken against the driver to the fullest extent of the law, and full support and assistance will be provided to the injured tourist.

Furthermore, Phang Nga Province has implemented strict traffic law enforcement measures and plans to upgrade and improve the existing traffic signal systems and road conditions to a higher standard, in order to enhance the confidence and safety of all tourists visiting Phang Nga.
